As promised, here is my little cosplay collection.
Itachi
First up, what was supposed to be Itachi's coat. I got this from Tokyo Toys @ Trocadero:
Only this is what Itachi's coat looks like, ie he can zip it up to the top:
And mine doesn't. I'm so sure the display one that I tried on was the proper one. They got this out the back and I never actually opened it until I got home.
Yeah, I'm sure it's him. Yeah, I was dressed as the freakin' Venus flytrap. Frickin' Zetsu.
Cost me £40 and a lot of regret. I actually want to sell this. I'm taking offers from anyone in the UK.
The headband is an unofficial one I got from eBay. I used to keep it sewn onto the sleeve of my jacket, but now it's just a cosplay prop and gathering dust. I'm not into Naruto at all these days.

Rinku!
I could only afford a partial outfit. So I got the main tunic plus the hat and accessories. I'm SO sure I bought the gloves as well, but I can't seem to find them. The brats did play with this a lot one time, so maybe it got lost then, or maybe I just imagined having the gloves.
No, I didn't buy it from Next. That was a top I got from a charity shop to help complete the outfit.
In any case, I originally got this for my nephew who was about 8 at the time, and I got the seller to make it larger for growing room. Anyway, it fits me. I used to wear this to work. Very few people actually recognised it as cosplay.
Here's the outfit with the hat:
And some detail.
I bought this from eBay at the same time I got this next, and final, outfit...
Ippongi Ryuuta
... aka the head dude from Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! Doo doo do doooooo
Ouen! Dai! Sei! Kou!
I can hardly believe I'm saying this, but the total cost of this outfit + the Link outfit above was £100 including postage.

Truly I was relishing finally having the ability to spend my own goddamn money. Heh. Anyway. I don't think I regret this one, not really. Remember it was tailor-made, and had to be shipped from Hong Kong. Speaking of tailor-made though, dude made the trousers WAAAAY too tight. I just couldn't get them buttoned without losing the ability to breathe. So I just ended up wearing my work trousers with it, and the clunky workboots, size 6. Heh.
And that's all for my cosplay adventures. Here are some photos from when I went to the London Expo.
This was the October 2010 event, and the only camera I had at the time was an old phone that my mother lent me:
This is the May 2012 event. I had a better camera this time 😉
...
I realised I have too many photos, so I'm gonna make a separate post.
