I finally have access to the full Dall-E app, and now I've run out of ideas. So I reused an old prompt to see how it compares with the Mini. Dall-E 2 definitely has a more skilled "hand", and has way less nightmare fuel, but how about the creativity?

Let's start with the bolognese dog from my last post. Dall-E Mini:

Next, I tried to see if it could come anywhere close to a character I designed for the kids a couple of years ago, called Poppy. I never uploaded any of my pictures of her, but I mean to. Someday. The full description was, "A nice, shy female blue-haired, blue-skinned, yellow-eyed humanoid alien child, descending from the mothership on a planet with purple sky and a pink moon." Maybe the prompt was a little too descriptive. I'll try not to be so lazy and make my own sketch. I think the Mini actually did a better job, how about you?
